Hidelow House Cottages is "Access For All" in Tourism National Silver Award Winner 2010

Enjoy England 2010 National Silver Award for Accessible Tourism

In October 2009 we won 3 major regional tourism awards (referred to as the "Tourism Oscars")
at the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards

Gold - 2009 "Access for All in Tourism" Award

Gold - 2009 "Sustainable Tourism" Award

Highly Commended - "Self-Catering" Award

We were subsequently put forward to the national Enjoy England Excellence in Tourism Awards, held at a glittering Gala night in Brighton on 23rd April 2010.

Where, against really stiff competition we won the

2010 Silver National "Access For All" in Tourism Award.

[Our competitors? - Imago at Burleigh Court won Gold; this is a conference hotel based at Loughborough University, which has 225 bedrooms, 24 meeting rooms and a leisure club. The Sage Newcastle Gateshead also won Silver; this is a performing arts, events and conference centre employing more than 425 full and part-time staff].

So ..... we may be small, but we think we did rather well, with the judges appreciating the unique service and facilities we offer our disabled guests at Hidelow.
